I mentor startups at succeeding online and to become a brand.I am a big believer in the power of branding.

I believe that we, as humans, don’t buy “stuff.” We don’t make decisions based on features and benefits. We make decisions based on emotion, “gut feel” and brand promise. We buy when we are moved. We buy when we are captivated and engaged to the point that we drop whatever it is we’re doing and say, “Oh, heck yes. I need me some of THAT.”

And so I teach people and companies how to create that reaction. I teach job seekers and corporations seeking new talent how to communicate their brands in memorable, engaging, and high personality ways, so that they will attract the right audiences and move them toward their core goals.

I have strong writing skills, geek out over traffic spikes, and proofread my own text messages. But I’m also a project manager, community builder, and team leader

In a nutshell, I help people, celebrities and companies alike to establish a successful and profitable online presence and help them on an ongoing basis to manage that presence in a way that they can optimize the experience and incorporate feedback to achieve online traction and sustain it.

Defining online success is a tricky and often ill executed activity. The expansive nature of the internet is the key factor in this. People get overwhelmed by the sheer length and breadth of the internet. They get on with great intentions and then they get lost very soon. In such a scenario, it is imperative and key that they have the guidance and support of someone who has seen it all and wants to help them keep their eye on the target. That is where I come on board and help you!

1 – Social media strategy audit – This is for companies that want to determine what their social media strategy should be, moving forward.  I’ll evaluate your existing resources, as well as your industry and what your competitors are doing, and help you decide which (if any) social tools you should be using to reach your business objectives.  The big advantage to this service is that you get an accurate audit of where you are right now, and what you need to do to move forward.  This also means that you don’t pay for services you don’t need such as launching a blog, when it actually makes more sense for you to be using Twitter instead.  It is HIGHLY recommended that this service be combined with my social media engagement service.

2 – Social media engagement – With this service, I show you how to accurately monitor and track company mentions, as well as mentions of key executives, industry-specific terms, and those of your competitors.  Once your monitoring system is in place, I’ll then train you on how to properly engage customers on blogs or Twitter (or elsewhere) that are discussing your company.  This service is often combined with other social media and blog consulting services, and is considered the ‘backbone’ of any solid social media strategy.

3 – Social media strategy implementation – With this service, we take your existing social media strategy, and improve upon it, or help you launch a completely new strategy.  This service is often an extension of my social media strategy assessment service.  It could include helping you launch a blog, or a Twitter presence, a page on Facebook, or often a combination of tools.  But the tools used will be in line with your existing business and communication goals and resources.

4 – Social media mentoring – This service is for a company that needs occasional advisement on their continuing social media strategy, but can do most of the ‘heavy-lifting’ themselves.  This gives you access to my help/advisement on an ‘as-needed’ basis, which means you pay less.

But what if you are not sure of what you need?


If your company would like to explore using social media, but aren’t sure how to get started, I would recommend we start with doing an assessment of your current situation, as detailed in my Social Media Strategy assessment.  This way we can accurately determine which social tools you should be using, instead of assuming that you need a blog, when maybe you shouldn’t be blogging.  This obviously saves you time and money, because you’ll only commit to the strategy and tools that make sense for your unique situation. We will begin by looking at what we want and how we can get there. And at each stage, we will use metrics and feedback extensively to create a path and navigate it. Every social media platform has it’s own nature and rules that come with an ecosystem. I will help you to understand and master each one on an ongoing basis. Our path will be determined by our target audience and our plan alone.
